Do-it-yourself Basque case machine!

Please enter the word you wish to decline. Lexical entries, please, the script can't analyse nouns which already are declined. A declined noun will be treated as a root and affixed accordingly (leading to some rather bizarre results).

Please note that I have just chosen some of the cases in Basque - there are a couple more (locative genitive, instrumental etc). These aren't problematical to derive automatically, I just did a subset this time for reasons of space and time. The last few cases will be included in a more complete version.

Furthemore, I have not addressed the question of NP's in indefinite form (whether they are determined by numerals or by zein"which") - the mugagabeaform. Thus, this script only deals with the case marking of definite NP's.

ENTRY:

Please specify whether the noun refers to a living (conscious, animate) being or an inanimate object.

This is a rather simple and preliminary version. If you notice any bugs (e.g. if it generates any incorrect results), please let me know!

Or why not pay a visit here to my Spanish verb morphology generator? (...and let me know how many mistakes you find!).
The Spanish morphology generator will ONLY work with Navigator and MSIE version 4 or later!! All you will get earlier versions is a row of error messages.
